I didn’t think I’d like a game that’s basically 'find the hidden group,' but Connect Master is different. It’s about noticing details on character cards and figuring out which four share the same secret trait. This morning I caught myself thinking about one of the boards while making coffee. It stays with you, in a good way.
A friend talked me into trying the meowdoku game and I was skeptical at first. Cute cats and colored regions sounded too light for me. Then I missed my bus stop because I was stuck on a board.
The colony flow game got me with its hidden food and hungry doors. I thought it was going to be a laid-back ant simulation, but it's actually about deciding which block to send down which path. If the waiting slots fill up, you lose, and that rule makes every move count. I'm still playing it at night.
